[REVIEW] Uniqlo Jeans

I am the type of person who always wears jeans. It doesn’t matter how comfortable yoga pants, leggings, or even jeggings are, jeans are essential to my every day outfit.

This past week, Uniqlo caught me by surprise and sent me a pair of their Ultra Stretch Jeans, and they are without a doubt the most comfortable pair of jeans I own. They are super stretchy and fit almost like boyfriend jeans. Mid-rise and ankle length with a nice straight leg. I typically wear high-waisted skinny jeans, but I found myself loving the fit and style of these. They have the right amount of distressing, and look amazing with any outfit. The distressing on the cuff is probably one of my favorite things about these jeans. It adds the perfect touch and makes them look stylish.

I’m usually a US size 25, which is the size they sent me, but I’ve found that they run a little bit larger. I recommend sizing down, because even when I wear a belt, it folds a little weird/might accentuate areas you don’t want to accentuate. Quality is very nice and sturdy! I’ve washed and dried the jeans multiple times, and they’ve kept both their shape and color.

Hakone Gardens

After a week of dreary weather, it has been so warm and sunny! Spring is finally here in California, and the flowers are all blooming. This past weekend, I visited Hakone Gardens in Saratoga, CA to experience the beautiful cherry blossoms in full bloom. It is such a beautiful garden and it makes you feel like you’re in Japan. I actually have never been to Japan before, and I am so excited that I’ll be visiting early May. Hopefully, there will still be cherry blossoms, but I’m excited to eat good food and experience the culture!Lo
